How to Add or Edit Documents on a Page

Adding and Editing documents is done using default Blocks. There are two main options for adding or editing files, which are blocks for File and Download List

File

  1. Within Dashboard, choose Page or Post you’d like to add or edit
  2. Select + for new Block and choose or Search for File Block
  3. Choose option to Upload or select from existing Media Library
  4. Within Block Settings in right Sidebar:
    1. Toggle Show download button on or off. This option will either display default button or you can just link to text (uses document title)
    2. Toggle Open in new tab to do so or default will open file in existing tab

Download List

Use the Download List when adding multiple documents

  1. Within Dashboard, choose Page or Post you’d like to add or edit
  2. Select + for new Block and choose or Search for Download List Block
  3. Select the edit (Pencil) option within new block to bring up options
  4. Select Add A Doc button
  5. Document options now appear including:
    1. Select Doc Type Icon to display (PDF, Word, Excel or Link)
    2. Choose Link Label (What shows to the right of the icon)
    3. Select Add File button to choose or upload desired Document
  6. Add as many docs for downloads as you need to. Please always use the media library option so that you can manage files.
